Kingfisher County VINE Coverage
The Oklahoma Attorney General describes OK VINE as a free, confidential, round-the-clock service for custody status and notifications. A person may check anonymously through VINELink, the mobile application, or the toll-free line at 1-877-654-8463. Offered notice methods can include app, phone, email, text, and TTY. Live operator help is available through the state service.
Coverage depends on participating Oklahoma agencies and the records they send. A Kingfisher County Justice Center event or an ODOC event may appear when supplied to the network. VINE is not a bulk Kingfisher release list and does not promise a permanent archive of every old event. It also does not cover federal Bureau of Prisons custody. A documented federal case belongs in the BOP locator, while an ordinary jail-only arrest belongs with the Justice Center.
Use VINE as an event and alert layer. The county release or movement record establishes when someone left the Justice Center and whether the event was community release or transfer. Search One Kingfisher Inmate

Kingfisher VINE and PPB Notices
Oklahoma VINE notification and Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board notification are separate. The Board says VINE does not send parole-hearing or parole-decision notices. A person who needs those notices must use the Board's victim-notification process. Board dockets and posted results also answer a different question: they show consideration and action, not necessarily physical release.
The separation matters in Kingfisher County. A favorable Board result can precede a prison release while paperwork, conditions, a home offer, another hold, or final government action remains. VINE may later carry an ODOC custody event. Neither item alone replaces the parole certificate, certificate of release, discharge notice, or supervising-office record.
PPB also identifies a special gap. VINE becomes inactive while an ODOC inmate is transferred to a Department of Mental Health facility and remains inactive until that person returns to ODOC custody. The missing or inactive VINE record during that period is not evidence of community release. Check ODOC and the authorized agency contact.
Kingfisher VINE Search Limits
A no-match does not prove release. It may reflect a spelling variation, alias, recent intake, transfer, delayed or nonparticipating feed, record-aging rule, or the mental-health transfer gap. A current-custody result can also lag a completed event. Preserve the label and access date, then ask the source agency for the actual record.
Important: VINE does not cover BOP federal custody, may not receive every Kingfisher event at once, and cannot replace agency confirmation.
The BOP Inmate Locator is the proper public path for a documented federal prison case. Its released result speaks only to BOP custody and not another hold. ICE's locator is oriented toward current immigration detention and is not a reliable historical release archive. VINE should not be used to bridge those systems.
Registries are separate too. The ODOC Sex and Violent Offender Registry applies only to persons with a statutory duty to register. It is not a release calendar or a list of everyone who left custody. Registry absence has no meaning for someone outside those laws.
Kingfisher Custody Record Cross-Checks
VINE must be matched to the kind of custody involved. For a Kingfisher jail episode, call the Justice Center first and ask whether the person remains there. A transfer to ODOC, another county, federal custody, or immigration custody is not community release.
For an ODOC event, read the OK Offender result as a state-system history. A prison facility, supervision office, parole status, inactive status, and discharge are different labels. Strong records include a certificate of release, parole certificate, discharge notice, termination summary, or final disposition report. If the person remains on supervision, release from prison is not final sentence discharge.
A court order explains the legal authority but may precede the jail's release steps. OSCN is a useful Kingfisher County docket cross-check, though its online display is not the official record. Two-source confirmation is strongest: VINE for a timely event, then the county or ODOC record for the actual release or transfer.
